A California consumer or their authorized representative may submit a request to Civis to exercise their rights regarding their personal information by completing the Civis Data Subject Request Form. Alternatively, California consumers or their authorized representatives can reach out to dataprotection@civisanalytics.com to exercise these rights. Where contacting us by email, please provide the following information for the consumer: full name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and type of rights request(s) being made. What the registry entry does and does not say
A registry entry says one thing: the company told the state it meets the California definition of a data broker and paid the annual registration. Registration is what the law asks for, so an entry here is a record of a filing and nothing more. It is not a finding, a complaint, or a rating, and this page does not add one.
The other half of the law runs on a clock. A registered broker has to access the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform at least once every 45 days, match the deletion requests in it against its own records, and file a status for every match.
