How to opt out, in the company's own published words

Private Records provides two methods for consumers to submit requests under the CCPA and opt-out of the sale of their personal information. A consumer can visit the online portal at https://www.privaterecords.net/optOut/name/landing or call (888) 270-9304.
Deletion under Gov. Code 6208.1(b) and 6254.21(c)(1)
The registry asks each broker how a protected individual can demand deletion of information posted online under those sections. This is what Private Records LLC filed, as of 22 Aug 2026.
Any individual may submit a deletion request by calling toll free at (888) 270-9304 or by removing their information at our portal https://www.privaterecords.net/optOut/name/landing. Private Records may request additional information to verify deletion requests from an individual as necessary.

What the registry entry does and does not say
A registry entry says one thing: the company told the state it meets the California definition of a data broker and paid the annual registration. Registration is what the law asks for, so an entry here is a record of a filing and nothing more. It is not a finding, a complaint, or a rating, and this page does not add one.
The other half of the law runs on a clock. A registered broker has to access the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform at least once every 45 days, match the deletion requests in it against its own records, and file a status for every match.
